OBJECTIVES

  The main objective is to develop knowledge in rehabilitation and sports medicine, basic principles of team management and leadership.
  To the addressees, i.e. physiotherapists, physical education or sports science professionals, physicians and nurses, it is intended to offer solid theoretical and theoretical-practical training that, in the context of the competencies of their graduation, will allow them to work in a safer and more capable way, to develop communication and referral skills in the multiprofessional context of Medicine and Health Sciences, and to develop autonomous economic-business activity with management control.
Description

CANDIDATES

Candidates must hold a university degree. Candidates who do not have this requirement may be admitted if their professional background and knowledge justify it.
The process of selection and ranking of candidates will always be based on curricular and professional assessment, taking into account the order of entry of the respective applications.

OPTIONAL PRACTICE

30 hours of optional clinical practice in different specialties (e.g. sessions and consultations in Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine, Orthopedics and Traumatology, ecoguided biological treatments, observation of surgeries in sports traumatology and orthopedics) at Clínica Espregueira FIFA Medical Center of Excellence, Porto.
Interested students can benefit from a maximum of 30 hours (on top of the 216 hours) at an additional cost of 300€.
The completion of the Postgraduate Course in Sports Medicine, Rehabilitation and Management guarantees the awarding of a diploma from both institutions.
