WHY SHOULD I TAKE THIS COURSE?
- I will train the execution and interpretation of orthopedic tests, under the guidance of specialized orthopedists and physical therapists, whose clinical sensitivity and specificity, alone or in combination, contribute to increase diagnostic or monitoring acuity in the context of physical evaluation
- I will expand capabilities to select, apply and periodize safe and effective exercises for treatment of frequent and/or severe knee injuries
- I will learn to select, progress and/or regress in the context of therapeutic exercises in view of the rehabilitation phase, individual, clinical or sporting circumstances, whether in the context of conservative or post-surgical treatment
- I will recognize and apply chronobiological criteria and physical evaluation tests to inform an informed decision and share sport resumption
- I will recognize and evaluate injuries indexed to their pathomechanics and ontogenetic developmental stage of the athlete
- I will identify and discuss models, programs and concepts for primary and secondary prevention of sports injuries
- I will develop the network of multi-professional contacts to enhance sharing, opportunities and skills in professional practice
